Ellas studio can be found in beautiful English Bay, Vancouver, Canada. She extends her deep love for the land and gratitude to live and work here. She pays her respects to elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledges this is the unceded traditional territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, and has been stewarded by them since time immemorial.
Ella is a Katzie First Nation (q̓ic̓əy̓) Artist from the Fraser Valley region of British Columbia whose calling is to paint. She grew up in Langley and Vancouver Island intimately connecting with the Fraser River, the Fort-to-Fort trails, and the Pacific Ocean. Throughout her life she has continued to travel and connect with new places. Bringing an appreciation for culture, colours, and elements of nature from around the world into her artistic practice.

In the deepest part of our souls, we are called to give back to the earth in some way. Ella strongly believes in bettering the rights and well-being for all animals.
